Centrafuse, a leading provider of connected car infotainment software, is seeking a Director of Aftermarket Sales. Centrafuse Auto is the leading, fully-featured infotainment software system that runs on any carPC hardware that supports Win32, Windows CE or Linux. Its products are available for purchase on the web, and existing customers include individual carPC enthusiasts, strategic partners, Tier1/ Tier2 suppliers and OEs. The company has offices in Atlanta and Detroit, and is a member of Georgia’s Advanced Technology Development Center.
The company is expanding its sales footprint to reach new segments of carPC users, including fleet drivers, boutique / retail aftermarket outlets and automotive dealerships. Centrafuse is recruiting for a new position, Director of Aftermarket Sales. The individual hired for this position will be directly responsible for generating revenue from the three aforementioned segments, through partnering with multiple 3rd party hardware suppliers and hardware distribution channels to integrate our Centrafuse Auto software application with their hardware offerings, to deliver a full infotainment system, for any vehicle.
A qualified candidate must possess the following characteristics:
- Independent self-starter, capable of driving the entire sales cycle from initial planning, researching potential clients in a target geography, prioritizing tactical actions, arranging initial and follow up sales meetings, closing sales contracts and shepherding fulfillment against existing orders
- Capability to understand the technical aspects of Centrafuse and the 3rd party hardware required to deliver a full connected car infotainment system
- Comfortable in the fast-paced environment of a growing software company, with an ability to learn and course-correct rapidly in order to achieve revenue results
- This position reports to the VP of Business Development and will interact closely with the CEO, and the candidate must be adept at interacting at this level within any organization
- Demonstrated success in previous sales position(s)
The qualifications for this position:
- 2-5 years sales experience covering the entire sales cycle - cold call through close through fulfillment
- Successful sales experience in the car audio industry, preferably at name-brand boutique shops or big-box retailers OR in the small- to medium-sized fleet industry
- Adept at lead generation using tools such as web search, LinkedIn, cold calls, personal networking, etc.
- Software knowledge or sales experience a plus
- Proficient with office productivity tools (Excel, Word, Google Docs) in order to prepare reports (forecasts, sales funnel, ad hoc analyses), customer quotes and other correspondence
- Exemplary oral and written communications skills
- Bachelor’s degree, or experiential equivalent
- Preference for candidates in the Atlanta or Detroit areas
Compensation for this position:
- Base + commission - total in the range of high 5-figure / low 6-figure, depending on qualifications
- Stock options
- Full benefits, 100% paid-for by the company
- 2 weeks vacation and paid customary holidays
